By downloading or using Sidekick ("the Service"), operated by SonderSpot OÜ ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Service Description

Sidekick is an AI-powered iOS assistant that provides chat, writing tools, image generation, voice mode, voice transcription, OCR, web search, and related features. AI responses are generated by third-party large language model (LLM) providers including OpenAI and Anthropic. Your selected model determines which provider processes a given request.

2. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You must not use Sidekick for illegal activity, harassment, spam, or any purpose that violates applicable law.
• You are responsible for the prompts you submit and the content generated in response.
• You understand that AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. Sidekick's output should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or financial advice.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the Service, including by automating requests in a way that degrades service for other users.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Some Sidekick features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID according to the plan you select and renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time from your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the prompts and content you provide. Subject to applicable third-party terms, you may use AI-generated output produced on your behalf for your own purposes. SonderSpot retains all rights in the Sidekick app, software, and brand.

6. AI and Third-Party Providers

AI responses are produced by third-party providers. We do not control the output of these models, and the set of available models and providers may change over time. Your use of AI-generated content through Sidekick is also subject to the terms and acceptable-use policies of the applicable model provider.

7. Service Availability

Sidekick is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uptime or uninterrupted access. Features may change, be added, or be removed without notice.

8. Termination

You may stop using Sidekick at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms, abuse the Service, or consume excessive resources. Where continued operation would harm the platform or other users, suspension may be immediate and without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SonderSpot OÜ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of Sidekick.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Sidekick after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, please stop using the Service.
